Westside Community Football Club in Wandsworth was founded in 1996 and the club has now grown to 27 teams and 400 players.

However, this club is not ‘just’ about football.

Our club has a large number of young people from local council estates. Many of these youngsters lead very deprived lives and have low expectations of the future. Being part of a football club provides them with great skills and also instils a much-needed sense of self-worth.

Sadly, when these boys move on to the men’s level, there is simply no funding available.

We desperately need these young men to remain in the club. We want to give them every chance to succeed in life and become awesome role models and valued members of the community.

In order for the men’s teams to succeed, we need to be able to fund pitches, training venue hire, match day officials, FA affiliation, insurance, kit and equipment.
