Sion Jones is a talented Rugby League player who has been selected to represent Wales Students at the 2017 World Cup in Australia. He needs to raise £2000 to follow his dreams and represent Wales.

Sion is a fluent Welsh speaker educated in Barry South Wales. He attended Ysgol Sant Curig and Ysgol Bro Morgannwg. A naturally talented sportsman who has played Rugby since the age of 5, and became interested in Rugby League at the age of 11. He has represented Pontyclun Panthers, South Wales Scorpions at Under 16s, Academy and 1st team levels.

At the age of 16, Sion was approached by Widnes Vikings and loved away from home to follow his dreams of becoming a Professional Rugby League player. He completed his education gaining his BTEC National Diploma with 2 distinction stars and a distinction. He was given an unconditional offer to study Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University.

Sion currently plays for the University 1st Team and Halifax Reserves RLFC.

Sion has represented Wales at Under 16s, Under 18s and Wales Students. All the Wales Students and staff are funding themselve. Sion and the other students are also funding their education.
