Story

Gold in the Cold = Matt and Steve's Fifty 4 Finland (Feb 2024)!

St. Nicholas Special School is trying to raise £2000 to help fund their 6th Form group of autistic students to be the first disabled students in the world to complete their 11 day D of E Gold expedition in the winter snow of arctic Lapland, in February 2024.

As the pupils will need to complete 6K of arctic activities on each day of their trip, 2 of their teachers - Stephen King and Matt Harris - will each be completing a Fifty 4 Finland (by completing 50K of sponsored running and / or walking during the month of November) to help raise funds for their accomodation and food costs!!

Please held support these young people with autism + physical / sensory / health disabilties acheive their once-in-a-lifetime goal by sponsoring Matt or Steve, or by giving a general donation.
