Hi folks , I've set myself the challenge coming up on the 18th of april running from Belfast to Dublin which is a total of 107 Mile , for anyone that knows me I was to do the same run in 2019 but covid had arrived and as a consequence the race was cancelled Fast forward six years and my itch to complete the official run never disappeared. I'm going to try and raise money for two great causes .

The firs play group

The Firs Playgroup is a cross community playgroup, providing high quality early years education and care to children in the Armagh area. As a charity the playgroup relies on funding from the local community and Government support for the day to day running costs.
The main aim of the playgroup is to provide a learning environment that is varied and responsive to the interests and learning needs of individual children. In addition, to providing early childhood education and care, the playgroup also provides an informal support network for parents. This funding will allow the playgroup to continue to provide high-quality provision and improve the outcomes for families and children in the Armagh area.

Armagh scouts
1st Armagh Scout Group are a voluntary organisation founded in 1933.
It relies on our local community, families and fund raisers to finance the group.

Our aim is to encourage the social, physical, intellectual, character, emotional and spiritual development of the young people so they may achieve their full potential and, as responsible citizens, to improve society.
We currently have 196 members within 1st Armagh.

All funds recieved helps to provide training for leaders, high quality programme for our youth members and the upkeep and maintaince of our scout den.

Stephen has recently joined our group as a volunteer leader and has kindly chosen our group along with firs play group as beneficiaries of his mammoth fund raiser.
We wish Stephen every success in this forthcoming event and ask you all to help out with the two local charities
