Story
As the 2017 Fermanagh Rose, myself and a group of roses, including 2017 Rose of Tralee Jennifer Byrne, will travel to Belarus for a week in February 2018 to volunteer with Adi Roche's Chernobyl Children International. We will spend a week living alongside and working to take care of the children at Vesnova Children's Mental Asylum in Belarus. All funds raised will be given to the Orphanage in Belarus to bring in medical supplies to the children that are vital to giving them comfort and a basic level of medical care.
