This Christmas, Erron, Hartley & I (and anybody else who would like to join) will be going into Preston city centre everyday from 20th- 23rd December giving packages to the Homeless. This year I'd like to ask for your help, in previous years when we have done similar things, we have realised, to our disappointment that there were many more that we couldn't help..

Christmas is a wonderful time of year (for those who know me personally, you know just how much I love it). However, for some people it's a cold, lonely & sad time. I, like many people wish this was something I could fix. I can't, but what we can do is make sure the homeless of Preston have some essentials for winter and a little Christmas spirit.

There's a few ways you could help.

🔸 Donate a couple of £ that will be used to purchase items for the packs
🔸 Donate items on the pack list
🔸 Join our all nighter on 2nd December and encourage your friends and family to sponsor you.

I appreciate that Christmas time is a time when most of us have to watch the pennies, but if you'd still like to help, then you could donate your time and join us on the hand outs! (Each day between 5-8pm).

Each pack will contain the following (more items may be added depending on funds, e.g. jumpers etc):

🔸thermal hat & gloves
🔸scarf
🔸bottle of water
🔸wipes
🔸socks
🔸toothbrush & toothpaste
🔸snacks (breakfast bars etc)
🔸waterproof clothing
🔸female hygiene products (sanitary towels & wipes)
🔸Free wash and cut from Kelly's salon.
🔸reusable flask
🔸tissues
🔸lip barm
🔸information on shelters etc
🔸sleeping bags

🔸special dog packages for the homeless men & women with pets

We will also notify StreetLink of the locations of all rough sleepers (a charity who finds places for rough sleepers to stay)

Any items not given directly to the Homeless by ourselves will be handed to the Foxton Centre to be put to good use.
