I've raised £200 to The Chris Snaith

In memory of Chris and Dave Snaith we are raising funds for the Chris Snaith Fund for brain tumour care and research
This Sunday we held our 15th annual charity football match for the Chris Snaith Fund, which helps with brain tumour care and research.
Chris Snaith was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2001. He had many talents and a passion for sport (particularly football – a fervent Sunderland supporter). Over the next few years, he had three operations and associated radiotherapy and chemotherapy at Newcastle General Hospital. After being told by doctors in the UK that they could do no more for him, Chris headed off the USA with his American wife, Nikki. He persuaded a pioneering hospital (UCLA) in Los Angeles to give him the benefit of some new treatments.
Chris passed away in April 2007 aged 26. Three months later, his wife Nikki gave birth to two beautiful babies. During the time he spent bravely fighting his illness, he researched the latest developments in treatment and shared these with others all over the world, trying to help whoever he could. He wanted this research to continue after he had gone.
After losing his son, Dave was dedicated to continuing his legacy and set up the Chris Snaith Fund. In Chris’s memory, he organised and was driving force behind 15 charity football matches and six charity social evenings for the Chris Snaith Fund. Chris’s friends and family have raised more than £60,000 for brain tumour charities.
Dave Snaith tragically passed away in September last year after suffering from a stroke. We were all devastated to lose Dave but we will continue with his legacy. We are trying to make sure that the work that Dave and Chris did in inspiring and supporting others is carried on so that more people can continue to benefit.
Thank you to Tommy, Liam, the teams and everyone who helped us to continue this legacy.
Any donations would be appreciated.
Thank you
