I've raised £100 to Southampton Hospital-Children's ward

As you are all aware Sam Badcock in Year 7 has been receiving treatment for a Brain Tumour since November 2019.
Following surgery and radiotherapy, he is just over halfway through 4 months of chemotherapy and is in hospital for the next three weeks, which as you can imagine is pretty unpleasant.
Things have been made more difficult for Sam & his family due to Covid 19 as now he is unable to leave his hospital room at all, and many of the support programmes designed to help the children cope during treatment have been cancelled.
Chapel House boys have been thinking of ways to support Sam during this time and raise money for the children's ward at Southampton Hospital, where he is receiving treatment and care.
We discussed running marathons, climbing mountains, or other great physical challenges but then we decided on something more mindful. Something lazy even.
What would Sam be doing next weekend? Staying in bed and mainly sleeping?
How could we share with Sam a fraction of what he may be going through and how could we help? Stay in bed and keep him company?
Raise money at the same time?
So we are going to stay in bed from 7.30pm on Saturday 20th June-3.30pm on Sunday 21 June. We have planned some activities but will mainly be keeping in touch and keeping Sam company. Please join in and donate £5 to take part.
Many thanks Ms Mone & Chapel House boys.
