Story
At SSA we are walking and running 1000 miles in November to raise £1000 for Reiver House Carlisle and the Special Care Baby Unit at the Cumberland Infirmary. We'd like to do this in memory of Luke Graham whose family chose the 2 charities to be supported in his name. If you didn't know Luke - just know that he was a very special and very loved person.
Reiver House is a service that cares for and treats people with cancer. The nurses and doctors provide chemotherapy and radiotherapy. They care for, support and treat people at every stage of their ongoing care.
The Special Care Baby Unit looks after babies that are born early and those that need extra care. They provide a supportive service for all babies and their families.
Please support us in our challenge - we will be out walking and running come rain or shine!

4 years agoWith one week left to go we have got our £1000 target and that has been such a great boost so thank you all for your support! We have walked and run 798.5 miles and are on target for the 1000! We can't wait to see how much more we can raise for these fantastic charities! Fingers crossed for some dry weather this week!!

4 years agoJust past the midway mark and we have managed 546.53 miles! We're all loving get out there and getting in more miles to help us towards our £1000 target! Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored us so far!
