Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer 😥, which resulted in me having my right boob (aka Harold!) chopped off. One thing I always said was that if I needed chemo I would dye my hair bright pink before it all fell out as it would probably be the only time I could get away with it or would even be brave enough! ’

I have not long found out that chemo is not needed 😁 as my cancer was tested and was found that the risk of spread or recurrence was low.

But, if we raise at least £1000 then I will go pink anyway, chemo or no chemo, and my hubby will even ‘brave the shave’ too! (maybe a grade 2 or 3 and not full bald look!) Any my missing right boob will be eternal

Any monies raised will be split between the smaller, much needed and usually unheard of charities that have helped me along my journey: Jen’s Mastectomy Pillows whose pillow was my best friend in the weeks after surgery and is still in use every night; Cancer Support UK who provide cancer and chemo kits which contain necessary items to make the treatment that little bit easier and lastly Knitted Knockers, who have the most amazing bunch of volunteers, knitting the softest ‘knockers’ for people like me, so we look a little less lopsided!. Any donations, large or small, would be gratefully received.
