Springhead school Scarborough provides learning for children with specialist needs and a small number of adaptable bicycles are required to enhance the children's school experience.
Finances are currently stretched yet there are a number of gentlemen in the Scarborough area who sport excessively hairy legs. Perhaps, just perhaps, a painless situation presents itself where the lower limb follicle embarrassment of certain candidates can provide both amusement and much needed equipment for the local community’s specialist school?
On January 28th 2017 at Scarborough Yacht Club Vincent Pier (In the lighthouse building) starting at approximately 20.00hrs (i.e. 8pm to the rest of us) a number of gullible volunteers will demonstrate their masculine self control and meet their fears, leg-on. All this while showing no pain and displaying immense discipline in a calm controlled atmosphere of zero profanity.
Kerstin Deacon of Body Concepts Beauty Salon in Scalby Scarborough has kindly offered to ‘execute’ proceedings and Kerstin assures me she will conduct herself in a manner of ‘maximum effect’, which should be reassuring for those having their legs stripped to the bare skin.
My father (Geoff Murray) was associated with Springhead school for close to 20 years, both as a fund raiser and later on the board of School Governors. Our family is delighted to be part of keeping the old man’s memory alive, were he around today he’d be the first to bare his legs for the waxing sacrifice.
Associates and friends of Springhead school together with friends and associates of the waxing volunteers along with Scarborough Yacht Club members are all welcome to attend.
