My name is Arran, I am 7 years old and I attend the special needs unit at Overmonnow Primary School. Along with my family, I will be cycling 42 miles from Brecon to Newport, along the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal to raise money for Meeting the Needs and we need your help!

Meeting the Needs is a small charity whose aim is to help benefit the pupils in the special needs resource base. Pupils like me require specialist equipment to enable us to access the curriculum and help us learn. Some resources are designed to make ordinary tasks manageable, tasks that the more able take for granted, but to special needs children are hard to achieve.

It is the aim of the charity to help educate and to enhance the quality of life for children like me with additional educational needs.
