    Story

Children from poor homes in developing countries like Nigeria don't usually have access to quality healthcare because of poorly run healthcare system available in those countries.
In the suburb of Lagos, former capital of Nigeria, there is a scarce presence of public healthcare facilities to care for the poor and less-priviledged.
Many residents will have to depend on unqualified medical personnel and traditional healers for the management of their health issues.
As a way of giving succour to the poor in suburb area of Ikorodu in Lagos, we have a program to render medical treatment to One Thousand (1,000) children attending public primary schools.
Presently, we have been able to raise sponsors for One Hundred (100) children in the first phase of fundraising.
In this second phase of fundraising, we are targeting sponsors for Five Hundred (500) children before the commencement of the new academic session in September 2017.
Under the program, the children will get Outpatient, Inpatient and minor surgical services.
The sponsorship is for Twelve (12) months and the value is $20 per child.

Sadiq (not real name) was registered for our Child Healthcare Assistance Programme after we secured sponsors for him and other 99 children. The report of his illness was brought by a classmate of his who had been registered earlier. Our team went to look for him in his house. We found out that he is an orphan living with his grandmother who is recovering from a chronic illness. He was promptly registered and treated same day. When he didn't show up for follow-up treatment, our team went to his house to bring him to the clinic. After laboratory
