Normally each year we do a 'present collection' where we ask members of the public to donate presents that we then distribute to vulnerable children across the East Riding of Yorkshire via social workers. Obviously 2020 has been a little different so to adhere to social distancing recommendations we decided to do our collection a little differently too.

So this year we are running a 'sponsor a stocking' where we are asking people to kindly donate money which we will then used to purchase a stocking for a vulnerable child in the area. Again this will be mainly done through the contacts we have with social workers and other industry professionals. Ideally we would ask for £15 as this covers the bulk of the cost of a stocking but any amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

We know 2020 has been tough for so many but with Christmas looming it's those that are already facing hardship and struggles that will suffer the most. Providing a stocking will not only remove a lot of pressure for struggling parents and carers but bring the much needed joy and happiness to a little child's face. Lets make sure no child goes without a stocking this Christmas. Together we can!
