Here at Specsavers Yardley we have all been touched recently by news that one of our patients Xander Van Der Poll (a 19 year old medical student) has been paralysed in a recent accident. So we have taken it on ourselves to help raise money towards a specialist racing wheelchair for Xander as it now his goal to compete in the paralympics

To get the ball rolling our Dispensing Manager Adrian is taking on the challenge of running a Half Marathon at the Great Birmingham Run on the 14th of October. We hope his efforts bring in plenty of support

We will continue to raise money in other ways over the next six months
