Special Families was established in 2014 by two Mums who wanted to have local support and activities available for their children. The organisation started as a Facebook group, giving parents a network of support and a collective voice.

Now we strive to bring families together by providing, promoting and facilitating inclusive special needs events in the local area. To achieve this we in partnership with other organisations host coffee mornings, social evenings, parent workshops, events and activities for families throughout the year providing fun for our children.
