Donate today to help us nourish, train, and uplift the community. Support Your Community By Nourishing Lives & Empowering Futures
We are a grassroots community group working to make a positive impact in the lives of london residents. Our projects focus on bringing people together, teaching valuable skills, and providing essential support to those who need it most.
Our Projects Include:
1. Free Cooking Classes for Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
We offer free hands-on cooking classes that help young people with SEND develop life skills, independence, and confidence. These classes are a fun and interactive way for participants to learn essential cooking skills while building connections and fostering a sense of belonging, preparing them for independent living.
2. Free Homemade Nutritious Meals for Isolated Elderly & Vulnerable Residents
Many elderly and vulnerable members of our community face isolation and financial struggles. We provide free, nutritious homemade meals to ensure they have access to healthy food and a reminder that they are not forgotten. We deliver to TRAs, community hubs and other local community groups on a weekly basis.
3. Free Professional Cookery Training Program for Long-Term Unemployed Residents
Our professional cookery training program offers long-term unemployed residents the opportunity to gain practical skills and qualifications to a City and Guilds standard and Food Safety and Allergen awareness certificates to help them secure employment in the hospitality industry. Trainees get work experience in our community cafe. We provide hands-on training with smaller classes with greater one to one support, flexibility, mentorship, and support to help residents regain confidence and find meaningful local employment.
Why We Need Your Support and What Donations Will Go Towards:
