South Park Football Club are raising £3,000 to help fund the clubs running costs, pitch renovations and the purchase of a new set of goalposts to ensure the club’s facilities ae ready for when we can resume playing football following the Coronavirus pandemic.

We hope everyone is keeping safe through these unprecedented times we find ourselves in. South Park Football Club has been part of the local community for 123 years. The club run 22 teams from Under 8’s through to a Vets team. Following the immediate cancellation of the 2019/20 season and the enforced closure of our clubhouse due to the Coronavirus pandemic in the middle of March we have had no income coming in.

The club still have a number of liabilities that have to be met through the coming months as well as preparing our pitches and facilities so that they are ready for when our teams are allowed to recommence playing football. As a club we do not like to ask for donations, especially in these difficult times however with the uncertainty of when the current restrictions will be lifted the outlook is very concerning. We would be extremely grateful if you could help us in any small way so that we are able to ensure our facilities are ready for all our teams to use when we return to some semblance of normality.
