People in South America are suffering from water-borne diseases take up about half of all the hospital beds in the world. And each year the diseases carried in water kill nearly two million people, mostly children under five years of age.

Over the course of the last two years I have become heavily involved in Charity work, mainly in UK for Mental Health. Since starting this journey I decided to ask my colleagues to join me on a international trip fully funded by ourselves to volunteer in the rural communities based in Peru and Columbia.

Myself and Colleague Lawrence will be travelling to both countries over the course of 3 weeks to assist in the Construction and Renovation of Housing, Clean Water Supplies and Medical Centres.

However, me feeling like I can give more, I do not feel like this is enough, my crowdfunding isn't to pay for my trip this will be solely paid by myself, I thought what else can I do whilst I'm travelling there? What else can I bring that may help?

So I decided, It may only be small but it's the only thing I can carry to the Airport.... So for every £25.00 Donated to this crowd funding page, 1 Life Straw will go with me overseas and be given to a child or family in need of clean water, to tackle illness, bacteria and water born diseases.

How long will my LifeStraw last? The LifeStraw can filter up to 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons). This would mean, if you used the LifeStraw every day, for all of your drinking water, it would last up to 4 years! £25.00 for 4 Years worth of drinking water - can you spare £30.00? or £10.00 or even £5.00?
