I'm trying to raise £8,000 for the young people of the Army Cadets and the St Mary's Hospice Community Hub both based in Barrow.

As it is my 80th birthday this year, and not really thinking I'd get this far, I want to do something positive and make a difference. I don't need presents, what I need is people to support me in this endeavour. There'll be a number of fundraising events throughout the year and other activities.
