My grandpa, Kiko, was born and raised in Vonunu, on Bilua in the Solomon Islands, a beautiful, but poor, rural community in the South Pacific. When my grandparents visited in 2015, the village had a boarding school with about 200 children mainly coming by canoe from surrounding islands. The school was built with government funds, but at that time had minimal equipment; a library with hardly any books, a lab with barely any apparatus. Our plan is to raise money to provide equipment for the school.

Various members of my family are raising money for our cause, this is just the beginning! We would be really grateful for any donation, no matter how small. My grandparents are travelling to the Solomons in January and any funds raised will be directly handed to a local contact at the school.

My Dad, (Keir) and brother, (Finn) and I will be all running the Farnham half marathon on 9th September 2018 for the Solomons' school, and would love to have your support!
