Making Tracks with Team SOL
SOL DEVON team are taking on a coastal walk challenge on the 7th and 14th of October that will spotlight the diversity and beauty of the North Devon coastal area and raise valuable funds for our charity.
The walks include Tarka to Tarka, connecting Barnstaple and Bideford along the Tarka Trail, historically a key railway network and today a cycle network. The walk will connect the two Tarka the Otter statues dedicated to Williamson’s literary work and the Trail’s namesake.
In contrast to the flatter Tarka Trail, we will then begin at Lynmouth’s famous walker statue and connecting upwards via the renowned Cliff Railway, undertake a more rugged challenge following the South West Coastal Path, west towards Heddon Valley.
Both walks will cover over 25 km and test our endurance in different ways.
Team SOL across Europe are invited to walk 25 km with us in your town or city or in your own location. Sharing of pictures would be welcomed and appreciated.
