Story

So in 2019 I took on the national 3 peaks challenge for 'In Charleys memory.' Unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions I was unable to complete the final one, Snowdon.

I felt it was necessary to revisit now and finally be able to tick it off! For me the three peaks was a personal challenge, It was me vs the mountains. This time around I wanted to make it a team challenge and more inclusive for others to take on Snowdon for maybe their own reasons in tackling mental health illnesses.

At In Charley’s Memory, everybody is welcome and whilst we understand it can be scary, it’s an incredibly brave decision to make. Seeking access and support for mental health is never easy, but it is a brave one. As a mental health charity offering affordable counselling we are proud of the fact that we do not place a cap on our counselling sessions.

To make this special we will be aiming for a sunrise summit.

The details for this event are listed below:

Departing early evening from Burnham on sea on Friday 20th May.

Hoping to begin our ascent at 2.30am Saturday 21st May. We will be going up the Pen-Y-Pass and will be allowing 3 hours to summit.

To be part of this incredible experience and journey all we ask for is a donation of £80. That £80 goes towards the cost of the trip and a small donation towards the charity. It is a first come first served basis and we have 14 spaces available.

Once you have made your donation of £80 I will be in touch to answer any questions and updates on the trip.

Donations are still welcome to the cause, even if you don't wish to partake on the trek!

Thank you for supporting such an amazing charity!
