I've raised £500 to support Special Needs Objective Outreach Project Bradford.

Snoop are a registered charity that offer several services for young people aged 2-25+ years with disabilities and complex health needs. Services include after school care, play schemes, youth clubs, safe places schemes and support for parents and carers.
Snoop’s vision is for a society where people with learning disabilities and their parents and carers feel valued, supported, and enabled to have a good life, with the same chances and opportunities that any other person would have. Their mission is to give personalised support by providing a wide range of services which aim to meet each individual’s need. Every young person is accepted for who they are, and the team works together to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for their members. Snoop rely on donations and fundraising to provide the resources needed such as sensory toys, outdoor toys, art and craft materials to enable their members to engage with the world around them.
So why the Coast to Coast. Well, I remember my Grandpa completing the Coast to Coast when I was younger and we got together as a family to meet him at the end in celebration. It gave him a great sense of pride and it’s been a long-held ambition of mine ever since to undertake the walk myself, so here we are!!
This epic trek will take me 12 days to complete, and I will walk over 198 miles Coast to Coast, from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorkshire. I will be joined by my trusty hound, Hector and supported by various family members and friends along the way. I will pass through three national parks – the Lake District National Park, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North York Moors National Park. The trail is not one that you can navigate using waymarks alone so I have done plenty of planning and will be armed with maps and a compass.
I start my walk on 19th June and all being well I will reach Robin Hoods Bay on 1st July for a hard-earned Birthday drink.
I would be grateful for any contributions.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, wish me luck and stay tuned for updates on our progress.
