I've raised £3000 to help build a much needed SMUHA Galley Shed

Since its inception in 2010, South Mainland Up Helly Aa (SMUHA) has been successful in drawing the communities of the South Mainland together. Months of preparation over the winter by squads, volunteers and the committee alike, culminating in a day of celebration on the second Friday in March.
To ensure the long-term viability of the festival, the committee are raising funds to build the festival's own galley shed.
We are pulling our 'tattoo' galley from the Gulberwick Hall to the Sandwick Social Club on Saturday 18th August 2018, leaving at 2pm. Please support this community event by donating generously, and giving us a toot of the horn if you pass us on the day.
