Can you believe that as of March 2022 SLCN Stories has donated over 286 books to 51 Primary Schools and SEND services across the U.K! We've sent books to schools in Liverpool, Birmingham, Conwy, Grimsby, London, Cumbria, Fort William, Ivybridge, Leeds, Coventry - just to name a few. Please share our fundraiser so that we can continue to donate to schools and raise awareness for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs - we have 5 schools already on or waiting list. This week SLCN Stories posted the 16th book donation to a Primary School in Skegness! The plan was to make it to the 20th donation before taking a break as we have been struggling to match fundraising to the demand and need for resources. And then today happened! I am blown away by the kindness and generosity! This means we can keep going, keep donating and keep making sure that children with speech, language and communication needs see their voices reflected in the stories they read. What a day!
