Story

Skateboarders have been using the National Health Service (NHS) ever since they first picked up a board and in celebration of this, I held a small demo in Hastings, East Sussex, UK.

The idea was to thank the NHS but at the same time raise funds for the NHS and two other charities linked to mental health & well being:

The Ben Raemers Foundation, which was founded after the tragic loss of one Britiain's greatest skateboarders due to suicide in 2019.

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 in the UK take their own lives. 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this.

Thank you.
