Help Joanne Brookes sing to save The Crescent Theatre!

I’m Joanne, a 23 year old aspiring Musical Theatre performer and a member of The Crescent Theatre in Birmingham . Some of you may of seen me in past shows (Romeo & Juliet, Spamalot, Nell Gwynn) or you may not know about The Crescent at all...

The Crescent Theatre is a non-funded, community arts venue in Birmingham. As a registered charity it brings live entertainment to the midlands at affordable prices and is host to countless groups and societies who want to develop their interest in the art.  The Crescent has a proud history of producing quality theatre for over 80 years and is an inclusive organisation, open to anyone who has wants to develop their love of theatre.  

Currently The Crescent is closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and without any income it could close.  A precious gem in the arts scene of the West Midlands could be lost forever, so we are asking for your help. A small donation would help keep The Crescent alive and secure the future as a community theatre for many generations to come.

As one of the smaller Birmingham theatres, it is uncertain how much help the theatre will receive in regard to funding. Therefore I want to do everything I can to help!

To raise money I will be uploading a variety of Golden Throwback covers including 1950s jazz, swing & musicals 🤩🎶✨ The videos will be scheduled just like a Crescent show week, so starting from Saturday 18th there will be a video every evening at 7:30pm and a 2:30pm matinee upload on the Sunday! 🎭
