Story

Lockdown 3 is hitting Simonswood Riding Academy hard and we are sadly struggling to fund the upkeep of our horses and ponies. Even though we have been forced to close, our bills remain the same as when we are open. Our horses and ponies welfare will always be our priority, but we could really use your help to keep them happy, healthy and well fed until we can open our gates to you all once again. We currently use 6 x £30 haylage bales, 6 x £30 straw bales , 3 x £7 bags of feed which is =£381per week , plus we still need to pay insurance, water, electricity, farrier, vets, wormers etc etc. We have been lucky enough to receive some donations of haylage from our friends whenever they are able to spare some, however due to the recent bad weather spell the horses and ponies are needing to eat more. We would be truly grateful for anyrhing you can donate to help us keep Dolly, Molly, Jupiter, Simba, Dotty, Babe, Harle, Clare, Daise, and Biscuit happy and healthy until we can reopen our gates again.

We hope you are all keeping safe and look forwards to seeing you all again soon.
