As you are all probably aware football is my passion, I absolutely love it. Over the years, this has undoubtedly rubbed off on my daughter Ffion. Fi plays in goal for the U13’s team Tilehurst Panthers. Tilehurst Panthers Football Club provides footballing opportunities for girls in the community of Tilehurst, Reading and the surrounding area. This can ONLY happen with some very dedicated individuals that help, coach, organise and much more. The more I see these people give up their time every week to the delight of my daughter and her team mates the more I wanted to help.

So, I have decide to run the Reading Half Marathon to raise money for the team. To show my own dedication I am personally sponsoring myself £1 for every minute it takes me (hence why I'm aiming for a world record)!!!

Although I've played football most of my life, I'm not really a dedicated runner, the most I've run previously is 5km and the odd 10km (which near on killed me), so I better start training soon.
