We are a group of Grampound residents aiming to raise enough capital to buy and run The Dolphin Inn as a community pub, following St Austell Brewery's decision to sell it once the current tenants leave in mid-April. We represent the nucleus of the village who want to make sure the heart of Grampound lives on; a heart that provides a meeting place, a social centre for activities and events; a place to share stories and meet friends old and new, over good food and quality drinks.

To achieve this monumental ambition to keep our pub, and our village alive, we need to raise funds, initially to register as a Community Benefit Society (CBS), cover the costs of printing and register with an organisation that will enable us to launch a Share Offering. We calculate that this will amount to approximately £1200 in the first instance; a relatively modest sum, but the vital first step in our journey to saving the Dolphin Inn for the benefit of everyone in the community.
