'Although my character, Ace, beat up a Dalek with a baseball bat rather than pushed one round the streets of Bedford, I am delighted to be part of this brilliant event. Bedford Foodbank is a brilliant organisation, making a real difference to people who really need support. Please donate however much you can, large or small, and help the Daleks do something worthwhile for a change!'

WHAT?
The Great Bedford Foodbank Sponsored Dalek Push will take place on the morning of Saturday 8th October. You may have heard of bed-pushes, where people push beds through the streets as a sponsored fund-raising activity. But we're not going to push beds; we're going to push Daleks.

WHY?
Amazingly enough, The Great Bedford Foodbank Sponsored Dalek Push is being held to raise funds for Bedford Foodbank. Each month, they feed about 500 children and adults in crisis. The Foodbank's annual running costs are in excess of £30,000 a year... and we're hoping to raise £5000 of this by the Dalek Push.
