I'm cycling LEJOG (Lands End to John O'Groats) the End to End. 900 miles, solo, without a support vehicle, with a tent and sleeping bag on my cycle, oh and it's NOT electric!
I'll be 60 when I do this in August and its been a bucket list dream of mine for some years now.
Monies raised will be for RNLI & Diabetes Guernsey, I suffer type 2, but with new medication I have managed to shed over 27 kilos (over 4 stones) in the last 2 years, also for Hannah House respite care centre, set up by my Mum when my sister Hannah died as a child and we needed the lifeboat ourselves this year!

1 year agoWell that's it, Challenge almost over, done the distance and just need a few more contributions to hit my magical target of £4,500.00 for my 3 Charities. Been home 5 days and just beginning to get back to normality, Right knee hurting but after best part of a thousand miles cycled it's to be expected. Please, please help me reach my goal and pop a few quid in if you're reading this, the page is about to close so act quick if you are going to help, and a HUGE THANK YOU to you who have already contributed. A Prison Officer in Guernsey, born in '63, & will be 60 years old when I tackle this in August. I currently pedal to/from work only 2 miles each way, so 6 months to prepare for this 900 mile challenge. Self supported with only a tent & a sleeping bag & a NON-Electric push bike!
