Every year we hold the Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge Showcase Final and split the takings between two charities - Marie Curie Cancer Care and Garston Animal Rescue - in memory of Liverpool Acoustic team member Sharon Jones.

This year we're holding the Showcase Final online and it'll be free to watch. But we don't want these two charities to miss out on much needed donations so we're asking people to make a contribution. This last year has been tough for charities that have been forced to cut back on their face-to-face fundraising, so anything we can give these two worthy causes will be gratefully received.

Entry to the event at LEAF on Bold Street is normally £7 so we're asking those who are able to match that this year to do so. You can give less or more - it's totally up to you.
