Thank you for coming to my crowdfunding page! 😁

I am going to do a Tandem Skydive from 12,000 feet to raise funds for my boys rugby club Tondu RFC on Friday, 2nd June 2017.

The club rely heavily on donations as it is based in a disadvantaged area and the money raised will go towards kits, equipment, tournaments and other necessary expenditure.

I love seeing the difference it has made in my own sons' who have been playing for a few years now and enjoy every minute of it. They have learnt so much about teamwork, gaining confidence and sportsmanship.

All the staff working for the club including the coaches all volunteer their time and do this because they can see the difference they are making in children's lives. There is a great team spirit in all the teams from the Firsts down to the Juniors and Minis and the sportsmanship that parents see is amazing!

As we all know physical activity is the most obvious benefit of sports participation. Children often spend too much time watching television or playing video games but sports practices and games provide an opportunity for exercise that can help keep kids in shape and healthy.

Also participation in sports can help build self-esteem and confidence, can motivate children to excel academically and can help build social skills. Participation also can teach children the benefits of goal-setting and practice.
