5 kids from Sheffield will be the first ever competitors in the WER championship in Shanghai this coming December.
The kids travel costs have been sponsored by AMRC and Rolls Royce.
The kids need chaperones as the range from 6-12 so parents involvement is vital and the associated cost are approx 7k including Visas, Flights and Insurances. We have had lots of interest as the children get increasing media coverage and have set up this crowdfunder in response to requests of how people can further help . This is an amazing opportunity to raise the STEM profile of the UK. We appreciate all your donations and it will help to make sure the trip is successful. We are hoping that the children can put the UK firmly on the map as a country to be reconned with for producing top quality engineers.
