Story
Sheffield will hold its first Digifest on Tuesday 4th July 2017. The event will act as a celebration of this digital learning activity and act as a platform to inform the many young people and families who will attend, of how business is responding to and incorporating new technologies.
The day will run from 10.00 in the morning until 7.00 in the evening. The event will be a mix of taster activities, showcasing products, presentation of prizes and a ‘market place’ of businesses explaining how they are making the most of digital opportunities and what skills they are seeking from potential recruits.
The event is free for businesses to attend and display, To that end we will be allocating display space to all on an equitable basis of ‘one business- one space’ regardless of size.
However we are asking that if you would like to support the event further, we encourage confidential donations of any size.
For example, we would like to provide lunch for the student ambassadors who will be in attendance, support some of the schools from outside Sheffield with transport costs and assist with videography for the day.
The more funds that can be generated the more we will be able to do.
Thank you.
