Sadly on Tuesday 25th January our wee dog Bear managed to escape and ended up getting hit by a car. The accident took place over from Arnold Clark, Armadale around 2.50-3pm Tuesday afternoon. Bear has been in the vets staying getting treatment ever since, he got moved from riverside vets Livingston to a specialist vets. Yesterday he had to go through a very intense operation for hours to try and keep him alive so we can get our boy home. He is still in the specialist vets in ITU fighting like a real Bear!! The outcome is still unknown but we just hope and pray he will be back home with us.. he will be in at least 5-7 days. He’s suffering from pelvic fracture’s, a ruptured urethra, bruising in his abdomen, trauma.. the list goes on. He is only 14 months and should be here with us playing with his ball pit and his girlfriend Belle 🐶 not fighting for his life.

Luckily Bear is insured - but only so much.. we still have 20% of the claim to pay for aswell as another full week being in the specialist vets which is financially difficult for us as you can imagine we would never have dreamed of this ever happening to us.. like every family we live from day to day and just get by!
