Well i am not sure if you remember an old social media site called msn messenger, we all had silly names, went into different chat rooms and sat at our computers with speakers and microphones.

Well that's how my friend met his now wife Jo (joanne), he moved from Gateshead up to Scotland and they now have 2 young children, Taylor 14 years old, and Mckenzi age 8, they moved back to Gateshead a couple of years ago and all seemed pretty good, but the world can be a cruel place.

A few weeks ago Jo went for some tests and it was discovered that she had Cancer in her Gall Bladder, this was shock enough, but in a very short space of time this has now spread into other areas, and the outlook is not what anyone wants to be told or hear.

I would like to organise fundraising to help create some happy memories while time allows and send them all off for a holiday, who knows where, I think if it were Disney land to see Mickey and Minnie, Butlins to enjoy some entertainment, or a Caravan in the lakes, where ever it may be I hope it creates some smiles, maybe distracts them from reality , and not only cheers them up now, but helps in the years to come

It might mean nothing or seem not important, but this is maybe the first holiday they have had together as a family so lets try to make it the most memorable we can for them all ,not just for now, but great memories for the future .
