My Dad finally picked up the courage to tell me the worst news, he had lung cancer. After waiting 4 months for it to be staged , it was more horrific news, Stage 4 and the cancer had taken a firm hold of him.
He now has pneumonia and only has a few short weeks to live (at best)
His biggest fear is dying alone in Birmingham and he wanted to spend his last days with his grandchildren and family in the Isle of Man.
The hopice have a bed for him and before he deteriorated further I found myself agreeing to fund an air ambulance.
I couldn't deny any man his dying wish and certainly not my own Dad, I'm heartbroken.
If anyone can find it in their heart to help no matter how small, every penny will help.
