I’m at the point where I’m unsure who I’ve updated and who I haven’t regarding the funds raised.

Firstly can I say a massive thank you, to all of you. You have all been amazing and by Lisa’s, micks and Lisa’s family’s side throughout.

I know it’s Lisa who has to cope with this horrible disease but each and everyone of us is going through this with her. Lisa is an amazing person and the love you are all giving her is second to none.

So when we were in Turkey and Leah had been informed by AXA uk that Lisa’s case had been declined, the hospital informed us they had not been notified. This went on for two days!! As they were dealing with Istanbul AXA. We got to the point were we had to set up the just giving page, and that is why I set the page at 50000K. At that point we hadn’t been given a set figure. To be honest, the hospital still thought the insurance would pay, even though we kept telling them the insurance in the UK had declined and we knew it was the decision from the UK that out ruled Istanbul AXA. All we were thinking was, the price per night was thousands and we couldn’t afford for the price to keep rising.

So when we got the price it was 65000€ & 2500€ repatriation, total of 67500€. Which is around £59000. It’s a massive amount but it’s a small price to pay, to still have Lisa here with us 💕💕

So we have currently raised £40839.67!!!. Which is massive!!

I’m writing this with such a heavy heart.

My sister travelled to Turkey alone and had a brain tumour and bleed on the brain. She has since found out she has stage 4 cancer.

We don’t know all the answers to where this will lead her next.

Her insurance company are saying she’s not covered as this was a pre- medical condition.

Lisa did not know she had a brain tumour so how would she know it was a pre medical condition.

We have since managed to get her home paying a down payment of 15k but have a massive 50k remaining to pay by 13/8.

These past 6 weeks have been like living in a nightmare!!

Please help in any way you can even if it’s simply sharing her Story
