Story
Crabble Corn Mill (listed building) was built in 1812, it is the only working Corn Mill of its kind in Kent and still produces flour. The corn mill stays working due to the volunteers that give their time and skills with fundraising, events, tours etc.. The volunteers have been busy for past two months with our Halloween event for which has become a much needed fundraiser for us. Unfortunately, last night we were broken into, a 200 year old window has been damaged to the point it can not be repaired and will need a new one crafted that complies to listing regulations. This is not cheap, and will unfortunately use all our fundraising efforts made for this weekend. To claim on our insurance would prove far costly as premiums would rise. If anyone who loves this building, supports us with our fundraising could share this and even donate a £1 we would be truly grateful. With thanks Sharon - Trustee
