On March 17th 2018 I lost my precious daughter after a long battle with bulimia. She was only 21 years old. So many times she was turned away from hospital for 'not meeting criteria', and although suffering from the most fatal of all mental illnesses, she never once received one counselling session. My goal now is to set up a therapy centre for young people in Northern Ireland, as we have no adequate facility here, and also to provide respite and support for their families.
