Story
We need the help of everyone!!! Current players, past players, families, friends and the community. As many of you know in 2014 we made the decision to set up our junior section. Little did we know then just how successful this was going to be. We have grown from having 20 children when we started to now having 140 children playing for Sharlston Rovers. We also have an open age team, Wakefield Trinity Ladies and Wakefield Trinity under 16's girls who also play from our ground. We have rapidly out grown the facilities we currently have and require additional changing rooms building. Without these we will not be able to sustain the rapid growth and attract and retain new players and children. To fund our planned new changing room facility, we need to match any grant funding we can secure on a £ for £ basis. This means if we ask for £50,000.00 in grant funding we need to also provide £50,00.00. The is a mountain to climb for a small village club who is run by volunteers, so we need the help of everyone to raise the much need funds. Please help by donating any amount large or small and help us give more opportunity to children who want to play Rugby League and want to play for Sharlston Rovers.
