Join Us in Raising Awareness & Funds for Limb Loss & Limb Difference!
April is Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, a time dedicated to recognising the resilience of those affected by limb loss while advocating for greater accessibility and support. This year, we are taking on a month-long fundraising challenge to raise money for ROMP Global, a non-profit providing life-changing prosthetic care to underserved communities worldwide as well as supporting accessibility in sport in our local community.
Why We Are Fundraising:
Limb loss affects millions of people across the world. Providing accessibility in sport can help those affected by limb loss and differences regain confidence, independence, and a sense of community through physical activity. Adaptive sports programs offer specialized equipment, coaching, and opportunities to ensure that individuals with limb differences can fully participate and thrive.
Meanwhile, in many lower socioeconomic regions, access to prosthetic care is limited or non-existent, leaving countless individuals without the mobility they need to lead independent lives. ROMP Global is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable prosthetics to those in need, ensuring that limb loss is not a barrier to a fulfilling life.
How You Can Help:
Throughout April, we will be taking on a series of challenges to raise awareness and funds. Whether it’s through donations, participation, or spreading the word, every contribution makes a difference in ensuring that those with limb loss have the support, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
Your support will go directly toward these two life-changing initiatives—one ensuring that adaptive sports remain accessible in our local community, and the other helping to restore mobility and dignity to individuals in underserved regions.
