Story
We are the Shakespeare Street Youth Club, or more fondly known as 'The Shakey'. We are the oldest youth club in Scotland having been on the go for 97 years, but now we need your help!
Due to a restructuring of local council funding (which we have consistantly received for decades) we now face imminent closure. This would be absolutely heart-breaking for not only the kids who attend our club - but the local community also - who use our building as a hub for clubs, classes, parties and so much more.
We are not asking for much, just enough to buy us enough time to hear back from alternative funding sources.

I saw this retweeted by Robert Carlyle. I teach young people in Dundee and know how important these organisations are. Good luck!

I'm in the U.S. but I know how important clubhouses (Recreation Centers in the U.S.) are important to a community. Children need a place to attend. They are the future. No matter where they come from.
