SHAFTESBURY CHILDREN’S SOCIETY QUIZ FUN OVER EASTER 2021

“It’s nearly the end of the lockdown quiz” by the Children’s Society. The lockdown has had a significant impact on children and young people. Think of the news items on poverty, food banks, loss of employment, lack of social contact and its implications for the mental health of young people and it’s no surprise that there’s been an increased need of support for vulnerable children and young people.

The Children’s Society has, against the odds, adapted to new ways of providing support and has continued to help improve the lives of children. Donations are all the more necessary due to the impact of the pandemic. You can help and, in the process, have some enjoyment.

Indeed, the quiz has been devised for your fun and interest, to share with your family, challenge your neighbour and to send on to whomever you would like anywhere in the world. Maybe you would like to use it for a family competition! We simply invite you to make a donation through Just Giving. Maybe we can exceed the target?

The questions are available from shaftesburycsoc@yahoo.com (put 'Quiz Please' in the subject line and if you do wish to return them (by 18th April), the two highest will receive a gift/book token with any ties drawn from ‘the hat’. “Winners” will be advised by 9th May and answers will be provided to any who request it with your e-mail address.
