Serpentine Golden Girls conquered the Race Across America in 2008. .Now we are back. With an average age of 70 years, we will be the oldest team of women to ever attempt RAAM. This is an organised cycle race. We have have just nine days to cycle in a 4 person relay the 3,070+ miles across America from West to East, from Oceanside in California to Annapolis in Maryland,

We want to show that age and sex are no barrier to staying fit and fulfilling your dreams.

In order to complete this challenge we have paid an entrance fee, hired 2 support vehicles, and an RV to sleep in. Then there are flight costs for the team and 10 volunteer crew, plus lots of other costs and incidentals.
