Story
On the 22nd of February, Lee Thornley took his own life. Unimaginable grief lead to a strong desire for change; change in the stigma surrounding mental health, and a change in the support available.
The Lee Cooper Foundation act as the bridge between our young people, and the endless waiting lists for our underfunded mental health services.
Myself and Lee's eldest brother Adam Thornley will be hiking the 120 mile Snowdonia Way, which stretches from end to end if the national park. In order to raise money for this great charity that was set up in Lee's name.
Along side this, we want to promote the idea of getting out in to the outdoors to improve mental health, take a break from the every day stresses of life and just talk to your friends and loved ones.
The hike will be held in the best suitable window within the month of June which will be confirmed nearer the time.
