At Sedgly Park Under14's Rugby team we strive to instill values, confidence and team work through creating consistent opportunities for the young players. The team is developed with the support of skilled coaches, managers and volunteers who encourage the young players to develop the ethos that great results are achieved through mutual respect, dedication and hard work.
The volunteers are organising a international rugby tour in 2018 in which the players will participate and develop their abilities through exposure to new and exciting challenges. The young players, coaches, managers and volunteers are taking part in numerous charity events throughout the year in order to raise funds for the tour.
The young players come from all different backgrounds and have had varied opportunities in life and come against some momentous challenges, however, they continue to regularly attend training and matches with a positive and determined attitude with a desire to succeed.
We need your support to be able to offer this amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to the young players, many of whom have yet to experience a plane and are not able to fund their place due to family and financial pressures.
